These models differ in screen size from 14.1 inches to 15.4 inches.What is common among these models is the powerful processor used which is the Intel Core 2 Duo or the Intel Centrino Duo. If you need a business computer then the integrated Intel graphics adapter is best suited for you but if you need faster 3D rendering and blazing frame rates then you could also choose the model with discrete Ati Radeon graphics adapter.

Lenovo S10 Model
The standard screen size for netbooks these days is 10 inches. If you liked the S9 but had a problem with its 8 inch display then look no further since the S10 has a 10.2 inch LCD display with 1024×600 resolution. Think of the S10 as the bigger brother of the S9. Lets see what this netbook packs.Specifications:
Processor: Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz
Memory: 512 MB up to 2GB (Maximum)
HDD: 80GB HDD up to 160GB HDD
Graphics: Intel GMA 950
additional specs: USB 2.0 ports for you to connect your USB devices, a 4 in 1 card reader, external monitor, ethernet port ,802.11 b/g wireless, 1.3 MP webcam, some models have bluetooth.
Basically, the specifications are almost the same as the S9, we are seeing upgrades on the camera and memory though.
Testing the unit:
This Lenovo IdeaPad S10 unit has an excellent build, even though the parts are made of plastic, it is very tough and looks like it could withstand lots of drops from the table. The 6-cell battery model would weigh at 2.80 pounds and would give you an average of 5 hours running time. Programs open up fairly quickly under Windows XP and if you have a 2GB memory then you would see improvement in speeds.
If you are looking for an all around model that’s got a large display then try to consider the S10.
